Digital Learning Survey
The following is a brief overview of and a reflection on the technological landscape at Oconomowoc High School, with a special focus on the World Language classroom.

* The following tools, software, operating systems, resources, Web 2.0 tools, e-learning sites, and equipment are available at Oconomowoc High School: an IT Department, 1:1 Chromebooks, dedicated computer labs, Google Classroom, EduClimber (for student profiles) and Skyward (grading system and messaging center). Web 2.0 tools that are commonly used are Quia, Colby Spanish, Quizlet, Kahoot, Flipgrid, EPals, Wordreference, Educreations, Achieve 3000, Newsela, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Apps, and Google Sites. Twitter is also used by many teachers and the school district.​

* A flipped (or a modified flipped) classroom model is used in many classrooms.

* There are a variety of optional workshops in the school district that teachers can attend on professional development days on the use of various technologies. ​​
*. Technology helps me to globalize my classroom by allowing my students direct access to authentic resources, such as websites and blogs. Technology also allows my students to communicate with people from around the world, sharing global perspectives and practicing the target language.
